Founder & Owner, CLAY Therapeutic Services
Kate Juozaitis, MA, LCPC, is the owner and founder of CLAY Therapeutic Services in Schaumburg Illinois, a practice built on the belief that people are inherently capable of transformation. Just like clay, we are all malleable—able to be shaped by life’s experiences into something both beautiful and strong. Kate helps individuals, couples, and organizations reconnect with that inner capacity for growth, healing, and purpose.
Kate brings over two decades of diverse clinical and leadership experience to her work. She began her career as a firefighter and paramedic, where she developed a deep understanding of crisis, trauma, and the resilience of the human spirit. Her path has spanned hospital settings (including oncology, hematology, and palliative care), residential therapy for children and adolescents with behavioral and developmental challenges, and community-based mental health services for underserved populations.
In private practice, Kate works with adults and couples navigating relationship conflict, life transitions, trauma, and self-discovery. She is trained in Couples Coaching, Collaborative and Conflict-Less Divorce Coaching, and Divorce Mediation, helping partners improve communication, rebuild trust, or separate with compassion. Her approach blends therapy and coaching to support both healing and forward movement.
She also offers Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) for clients working through trauma, grief, or treatment-resistant depression. This integrative work helps clients safely access deeper levels of insight, emotional release, and healing when traditional talk therapy alone may not be enough.
As a Purpose Factor Facilitator, Kate works with individuals and corporations to improve leadership, emotional wellness, and workplace engagement. She helps professionals align with their natural strengths and lead with confidence and authenticity. Through this framework, she helps professionals and teams identify their natural strengths, align with their purpose, and build cultures of engagement and fulfillment.
Committed to lifelong learning, Kate integrates evidence-based modalities—including CBT, DBT, ACT, Gottman Method, and mindfulness—with her trademark direct, compassionate, and empowering style. Whether in the therapy room, the boardroom, or the coaching space, her mission is the same: to help people rise, rebuild, and remember who they were always meant to be.
